Eddie Hondal is affectionately known as ‘Papa Panther” for the key role he played in developing FIU’s student life and campus spirit.  He is an accomplished medical sales professional with over twelve years of experience, mainly in
the Cardiovascular market. He currently works for Eli Lilly and Company as their Senior Diabetes Specialty Representative.

Multiple-time award winner, customer-centric representative that focuses on the total medical office needs to benefit the physician’s practice and the patients they serve. Established executive contacts in the South Florida health insurance and pharmacy community, which has greatly benefited AbbVie product portfolio by serving as a contact for multiple franchises, including Managed Care.

Eddie once served as FIU’s Executive Director for Alumni Affairs, and is currently a member of the Alumni Association for FIU.
